Built to fit snugly between two wall studs, this unit requires an opening measuring 14.5 inches wide by 30.25 inches tall. Because it needs to vent through both sides, installation must be done on an interior wall. You can either hardwire it into your home’s electrical system or use a standard 120-volt outlet—an optional 10-foot cord and plug is included for convenience. Depending on your setup, you may need to purchase a few extra accessories to complete the installation. Here’s when that might apply:
No additional accessories are needed if penetrating both walls and the opposite side is a mechanical room.
If the back wall is functional space, installation requires a 2x4 Wall Mount Bezel Kit (PN 4037767).
If the other side of the wall goes into an unconditioned space, it may require the 2x4 Rear Panel Kit (PN 4037768) to add a layer of insulation to prevent condensation.
For surface mount installation, the surface Mount Kit (PN 4037766) is required.
Note: While professional installation is recommended, it’s not required. Be sure to shut off your electrical breaker before installation. See the owner’s manual for additional installation directions and requirements.

Draining Made Simple
This unit comes with a 10-foot drain hose that connects directly to the drain port. You’ll need to route it through the interior wall cavity and into an HVAC AHU drain (which links to the HVAC drain pan) or another approved drainage outlet. Depending on the setup, the water can flow out by gravity, or you can install an external condensate pump to move it where needed. Once it’s in place, there’s no need to worry about emptying tanks or handling manual drainage—it runs on its own. Just make sure to review your local building codes before installation.
